For as long as I can remember I have been reading and telling dog stories. Now I write stories about dogs , the human-animal connection, and animal assisted therapy at the intersection of animals and human health.

As a retired masters level registered nurse, retired Professional in Health Care Quality and a Humane Education Specialist, my background in psychiatric nursing informs my writing about the benefits of animals on the mental health and well being of people. My latest projects are books about the pioneer dogs of health care and the dogs that rode the railways.
I will be posting news about my book launch here on my blog . In the meantime, here are some of my posts and a few from The Daily Junior Blog. Stop by often .
I tell dog stories. What’s your dog’s story?
